How to manage a service's Remediate Documentation Link via the API

Hi,

I’ve manually created a service whose Response tab > Remediate section contains a Documentation Link (url).

How do I manage a service’s Remediate > Documentation Link via the API as I’d like to create/update a large number of services with this attribute.

At the moment, I don’t see any mentions of this attribute for the Services endpoint within the API docs.

Thanks.

Hello Rishav,

We do not have this on the API at this point but thanks for your feedback that it is something you’d like to see. I will pass this info along to the product team and let them know what you’re looking for.

Sorry we cannot help you out with this right now, but do let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi,

Any word back from the product team on this feature please? We’re trying to get to a place where our Pagerduty alerts are created programmatically as we create new services but having to manually add links to documentation manually is a bit of a let-down. It’d really help our use-case to have this in the API and the Terraform provider.

Hey,

Honestly, I’m also interested in whether they will add this opportunity or not. It’d be great to have this feature on the API. I think that our documentation system needs more manual services like the ones described by Rishav. At the same time, my friend thinks that I should use specific software for this kind of job. There are plenty of tools for online documentation, but I’ve just found a good option for me. I’m going to find more information on their website and I hope it’s gonna help me with creating additional features for docs section of my site.
